Wander, Wonder

“A good traveller has no plans, and is not intent on arriving”- Lao Tzu

Hello,

You can always hit the road, see what the places look like

You can see a whole lot, see a whole lot of it

Don’t hit the road too hard, the road will hit you back

Harder than you know how, for now

See the snowy trees

See the edge of the world, the edge of civilisation, the edge of  humanity and reason

And, lose it

See the middle of nowhere, see the beginning and end too

Be free in the forest, camp out in the beyond, and dine with the stars

See the Moon and Sun waltz on ice, feel stunning, frozen and inspired

See the Sun, ascending madly in the morning

Descend madly into the cold, into freezing temperatures, into ice and mist

Stand inside a Volcano

For life is too short for the wanderer, we won’t know what it looks like until we stand at the edge of it, look at it laughing with joy and crying with ecstasy – and say to ourselves, what do we really need? What is my heart and soul calling for?

I know when, because my reason came and got me when I didn’t have one

When you know you are about to live the rest of your life, and accept the journey, you will know that it was YOU who saw; YOU saw the trees covered in snow; YOU saw the sun burning white like an angel; YOU saw the inside of a volcano; YOU lived your life; YOU found love,

You already had all this in your heart, and now the world looks like a place designed by your love of life, and the love of your life travels besides you,

Peace & Love

Damien A.
