Believe in yourself. Be realistic. Be kind. Be optimistic. Be authentic.
If you cannot love yourself, you cannot love. Not that you don’t “deserve” it. But no one owes it to you.
Stay faithful and have hope always. Aim high. Do what you can to rest and recover. Do what you can to take care and always keep trying. Happiness is a journey not a destination, you choose how you get there and with whom.
They have to choose you too and they won’t if you don’t choose yourself for it, you can’t force someone either. Many things have to pan out and it takes effort and work on your part – but whenever has good work not reaped the rewards? There’s always value to be had and many silver linings for a life well lived.
As long as you are attentive, receptive, accountable and willing to listen and learn, that should be a good start. I know it sounds like a lot, but it’s not about being perfect, it’s about giving your best, trying not to give yourself too many excuses and trying to learn from your mistakes and failures. As long as you act with the future in mind, draw upon the past for only it’s lessons and positive projections, live in the now and be truly present, then you should be quite alright.
So, you better make sure you know what you want or be willing to figure it out.
That’s what I did, and what I do constantly and I have not regretted it one bit. Otherwise I would not have learned the things that I have and I would not have survived what I have, and I would not have met the best people whom I have been very lucky to meet.
I have been truly lucky and yet I work hard for this right every day, I work for the right to have what I do, I work for those whom I care about and towards the life they deserve.
