Own Light

Hello all,

I’m going to ask you a few personal questions, but it’s only a hypothetical and whether or not you want to answer is totally up to you.

Do you love yourself? Or do you need reassurance from someone else to think you may be worth loving?

You can answer yourself. You need not look any further than the walls of your own heart. Look into your heart – does it hurt?

The only way for you to be saved, the only way to find the love you’ve been sorely without is if you start to look within. If your heart hurts, it requires your own love and attention.

If you automatically say to yourself, anything negative, if you play down your own achievements no matter how big or small – do you know, you have dismissed yourself? You have said – I’m not worth even the effort to be seen.

Why don’t you want to be seen? Don’t you see yourself?

If you look in the mirror, and all you see is pain, tiredness and something less than beautiful – don’t you know, you are beautiful? Don’t you know, you are so much more than how you view yourself? Your potential, your beauty, your worth, is something way beyond human comprehension?

When you decided, that others, that society knows better than you, what your heart needs and what your soul feeds itself with – you are permitting the resentment, jealousy and cruelty of others to enter into your heart?

If you believe it’s important to spread good will, happiness and peace throughout the land, then you will need to start first with yourself.

That means, your desire to do good is being quashed or withheld, because you don’t fully desire to do good for yourself – don’t you see how wrong that is? Don’t you see how little you serve yourself?

You can’t feed others with an empty plate.

You can’t live without love in your heart.

You can’t live without the light in your eyes, your soul.

If you want to change this for the better, and if you want to change the world to make it a better place. Look inside, you’ll soon see that the brightest, most powerful, most important light of love, hope and possibility is there inside you. It has never gone away, and actually even after you pass your soul can last forever in the hearts and minds of others and you can really change the world.

There are many examples of those who gave it all to make the world better, people like MLK, Maya Angelou, Mahatma Gandhi and others – they blessed the world with their hearts, and because of them we are much more hopeful, blessed and lucky for knowing that these souls exist.

Who says you can’t be great? Loved? Full of light?

Really, you already are – you just need to recognise in yourself, what good you seem to see in others. And if you see good in others, and know this to be a blessing, guess what?

You, you are the beautiful one, you are the good one, you are the blessing.

You bestow goodness without asking for anything in return. You give your heart openly and ask for no repayment. Your goodness is real payment. Your light. Your love. These things are precious and invaluable.

Love yourself.

I see the light in you. Let it shine and don’t give up. Even if you need to practice loving yourself daily. Your heart is in this for the good, time to start being good to yourself also.

I hope you learn to love yourself more fully. I hope you begin to realise the importance and beauty of your light and love.

Protect it. Grow it.

Your light is like a tree, they are meant to grow. They look towards light and it helps them to grow bigger and stronger. They come from the Earth and head for the Stars. Your light, inside you – this needs to permit growth, this needs to react to light with light, light upon itself and in multiple dimensions.

Your love is like the World. A World at War, will only do harm to itself. A World that does not replenish, and take care of itself, will slowly drain itself of everything it has of value. The Oceans will fill with plastic. All signs of life become extinct. All innocence becomes destroyed. Will you let innocence and good be destroyed?

Your world, your love, needs not to be at war with itself – Love and Hate are so powerfully connected – but Love is the only thing which can sustain life. Hate can never do this. All feelings of pain slowly lead towards hate.

Protect the world. Protect love.

If you give it away. If you let the lands become barren, and unsustainable, no one will be able to live there anymore, not even you.
