Faith, What?

“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools”- Martin Luther King Jr.

Hello,

My question is: Faith, what?

I mean what? Really?

Don’t make any assumptions please, faith is used, needed and invoked the world over.

Do we take a next step – or do we remain here on the ledge sometimes called “procrastination” “rumination” “delay” or much more dramatically we can call it “purgatory” – I think when humanity waits for something to change, without hope, faith or peace in their hearts, they are waiting to be saved – is faith waiting to be saved? Or is it, asking for forgiveness? Is it taking a step into the unknown and putting your heart and soul into changing the world?

When you have faith, do you await destruction, or do you look at the world… and look up to the cosmos and wonder why? Heaven is exactly where you believe it to be. Paradise or the Promised Land or Nirvana.

Heaven/ Paradise/ Nirvana/ Valhalla and what anyone else believes it to be called, this “life after death” or this place in our hearts, minds and souls? Is that not where it also is? Can it be explained by physics? Maybe if you have faith in the sciences? Faith in others?

If Heaven is in the sky, the space, your hearts, your minds – why don’t we all share in this together?

What right do we or anyone have to deny the faith of others? But if you are a “member of faith” do you use this membership to deny others of their right to live and exist peaceably, of their right to faith, of their right to their own faith?

It is no-one’s right to “save” you, you must only save yourself.

At some point, society lied to you all and a voice came down proclaiming to be the “god” but it was only a man.

Man took away your peace.

Man took away your paradise.

Man took away your freedoms.

Man pillaged the land.

Man wasted the ocean.

Man ruined the nature.

Man murdered the animals, peoples and others on this planet.

Man made you forget your shared communion, with all humans, man (since mostly men have been in charge since we took account of human activity some few thousand years ago) made us think we are all different, and therefore wrong and separate.

This separation means we have no responsibility to others. Or concern for them. This can still change.

The Human goal, from this man-playing-god, was to control, manipulate, and abuse others for the sake of greater riches, for the sake of “heaven” – and to take away what they already could have had, if they made it their goal to share. Maybe the original “mouthpiece(s)” had the most beautiful vision of things, and then greedy men-like-rats took the doctrines and turned them into a most deceitful vision and began to spoil the true dream – think medieval paranoia – this was a really good way to control peasants wasn’t it?

How are we so different to these peasants – do we not take orders from a “higher power”? Do we not defend national ties, above the ties of all humankind? Of all the world and nature in one? To whom is this allegiance with, the leader of the countries, or the governments? What do we get back, some of the taxes we overpaid on?

So you might ask, if we share, won’t they only take, take, take?

We must believe, Humans are capable of better.

We must strive to iron out the divides, differences, and begin to consolidate the debt of human lives, and that of the natural kingdom. Or rather, we must begin to understand.

Wake up humanity.

We are not God, but we all have a right to Faith, Peace and Freedom without destroying our own world.

Point to anywhere on the globe, who’s there?

Humans, animals and nature.

Don’t destroy any part of it.

Or you destroy the world.

Do not give up.

Do not forsake others.

Do not give up on Faith.

Do not give up on Peace.

Do not give up on Freedom.

Now remember these are things all Humans need.

Good luck and God Bless.

Peace & Love

Damien A.
