“You have a question in your heart – do you answer to it? Or do you ask it the question – what is love?”
I believe we can always begin to ask of ourselves – what is required to let our love grow?
One thing I realised, it’s easy to want to be wise but how do I enact wisdom?
Any wisdom therefore, is just like a Moon and no Sun – it has no light without the passion, courage and fire of life truly lived – the Sun, this is life and fuel self-sustaining, easily taking action, living it’s life proudly and lovingly.
Then, if you have a lot of wisdom, and do not truly live – you are just a Moon – then you must, quite mooning around and start to be a Sun also – give light, give life, take action, live fully, live passionately, live courageously, live compassionately.
Then, if you live energetically, if you believe only in actions, you are a Sun – do not forget the Moon, for he is your echo – without you all his wisdom just sounds like enchantment, seduction and magic – without you, his words are seemingly meaningless or fruitless.
Even with all the wisdom in the world, when the Moon sings his songs of seduction, or keeps his thoughts to himself, or allows his friends that pass through his subtle light to hear his sweet words – from his position, without reflecting the Sun, without seeing her beautiful beaming face, her “life-in-action” would know nothing about life, and would have nothing much to say at all and would be entirely lifeless.
Even with all the passion of life, with the fire burning from all creation, the Sun will keep on churning it’s energy and action throughout the solar system, giving life to all – do not all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun? Does not all life spring to face her, grow to meet her, nourish themselves under her gaze and beauty?
Even Pluto, if it’s no longer considered a planet, coldly out there revolves around the Sun. He simply assumes that the light is not his, he simply looks enviously in.
Love is the light of the Sun.
Don’t just grow, don’t just Moon – give it back.
Give the light back, glow as brightly as you can.
Think about these kinds of wisdom and inner light, the compassion and passion of a life lived fully, in reflection, in action, in motion, in emotion –
The more you learn about yourself, the more you can do – and the more you can do for yourself, the more you can do for others and the more you can teach.
You can be a Sun, and show your love as the light of the world. Just as you can be a Moon and be a reflection of others, as much as yourself. Really, you are already these, and you are already this, just let them out and let them show.
