That’s one way to test attachment. It could be a watershed moment. The floods and the rivers came to wash away, and in the wake of the floods, lands become fertile again. And the Sun will break through the clouds when God has let us suffer just about enough.

Attachment forms when two souls want to dig into each other and do not wish to remove themselves. Letting go, can be mutual where we both let go of weights and problems, or letting go can be of the other. Wherever the healing must occur between two, it either creates an irreparable barrier, or it creates a much stronger union of souls.

When one soul touches another, the effect is irreversible, from good and bad what you do gets into the heart of another and the closer you let them in, the more intimate you become, the harder it is to deal with their absence, the more you feel their effect, and the deeper you feel. Especially if the choice was out of your grasp, and you still had more to do, be and say with them. Especially, if you loved their presence in your life. Most profoundly if you loved them into the core of your being, this you cannot truly undo, even if you push them out. Only acceptance can allow for true healing in place of this person, and as recompense for the grief.

Don’t forget, shiny luminescent souls, you always see your reflection in the other, in them you see yourselves, what you wish and wish not to see, what you imagine things are – this embodies your vision? Seeing is believing they say, and so if you see something you must believe in it! What do you see?
In a mutual love, in another who comforts and soothes you, who loves you, who accepts you, do you see their acceptance? Do you live the pride and joy? Do you embody what they love in you? Do you see their faults?
What do they see in you? Their reflection. So if you do this to each other, you must realise you are seeing the entire cosmos, through the complexity of a whole experience of life, through someone who wishes to seek you, and whom you wish to seek – what could they be? How high can their love grow?
This tricky process you both decide. So, decide it, and be honest and open! It will make it so much easier for the other to find the lover in you. It will not show the look of fear, which can also be quite fearful. It will not look upon doubt, and will not therefore be doubt created.
It turns out, there’s no real answer yet but the search for knowledge continues, in the wilderness of the heart, no rallying cry, no crowds, no war machines, no tempests and no single person can create the landscape – once you have realised that you are the tempest, the storm and the seas in your heart and the landscapes and the whole cosmos in it’s entirety, you will know it’s time again for the rains to wash away, the lightening to ground itself and for the unruly winds to slow to a gentle breeze and rock you into a timeless peace.
Joy and ecstasy reign true here also. Know that all of these are in your heart and are ready to come whenever you call upon them. All the forces of nature come from there too. For how does a world not live and breathe, from the same lungs that you yourself do?
In these contrived notes, let complexity find you a fond friend to enjoy. A faithful type who will never let you down, and will always make up for it tenfold when the need arises.
